Repair

Is there a problem with your Harold's bag?

Write to us and send us a photo. Then we can easily assess how we can help you.

Defects within the warranty period - unless caused by improper use - will be repaired free of charge.

We repair defects outside the warranty at fair prices. Because it is in our concept of sustainability to keep a bag made of good leather as long as possible (and if it seems reasonable). For this, you will receive a quotation after you have sent us a photo and a short description by e-mail to:

service@harolds-bags.com

Our know-how also allows us to repair bags from other manufacturers, especially if they are leather bags. You will receive a quotation for this after you have sent us a photo and a short description by e-mail:

Important note: We do not, however, repair travel cases with trolley linkages, as there are no spare parts available for these.

Submission address:

Harold's Lederwaren GmbH
Lämmerspieler Strasse 40-42

The sending is always at the expense of the sending person or company. We do not accept packages sent freight collect.

Self-repair and wear parts

As with every product in use, leather bags also have wear parts. These are often the fittings (locks, carabiners), especially if they are exposed to vibrations.

Other wear points are seams that are exposed to friction.

You can carry out most of the repairs yourself. For this purpose, we keep an extensive stock of spare parts. In many cases, a good cobbler/shoemaker or some tailor in your area can also help you extend the life of your bag. This is often faster and less costly, as you save on shipping. Send us a photo of the defective metal part to:

service@harolds-bags.com

And finally, the leather: Above all, you should make sure that the leather does not dry out. Information on this can be found at our care instructions. Repairs to the leather must be carried out in our workshop, especially if sewing work is involved. For restoration work - including dyeing - we recommend the Leather Center in Rosdorf: www.lederzentrum.de
