Sustainable Leather Futures

Design & Material Innovation

Proudly, we report about the successful master thesis, which we were allowed to support at the fashion school Esmod Berlin.

The work deals with sustainability concerns in the leather industry and supports companies in their attempt to operate more sustainably with a concrete solution approach.

The goal of the work is to apply the principles of sustainability to all levels of the business - starting with the design process, through production, and ending with the marketing of the leather goods.

As part of this work, a novel concept called "Next Generation Pattern" and a Capsule Collection were developed in collaboration. The collection has a mature as well as timeless design and is designed to extend the product life cycle.

We are particularly pleased about the successful cooperation, as we are now, as in the past, committed to the sustainability of our products and would also like to support the next generation in this endeavor.
