FORMAT stands for products with clear shapes, defined details and superior lines for casual but well-dressed ladies and gentlemen.
The FORMAT collection works season-independently and everything is produced locally, fairly and ecologically in Berlin.

Kraud was founded in 2006 by Yvonne Fehling and Jennie Peiz. It marks exceptional furniture, lighting and accessories with sculptural character. Sometimes accommodating, sometimes challenging.
The 'Paperbag' of the Harold's Concepts Accessories Collection was designed by the two designers and has become a classic in our program.
Boisbuchet was the dream of a design amateur and expert: Alexander von Vegesack. He wanted a place where design meets education, in the broadest sense. About 25 years ago, he bought the 150-hectare Domaine de Boisbuchet. Since then, professionals and students have come every year to experience how internationally successful professionals structure their work and how they approach design problems.
Thilo Schmelz participated in a workshop here and developed an innovative leather utensil: Meander. With it, pens, business cards or postcards and all the little things that like to collect on storage surfaces of desks, dressers or sideboards find an orderly place.

'Home Traveller' is a storage object for the home that cannot be pigeonholed. The combination of a travel bag and a chest of drawers offers plenty of space for clothes and other things and makes us think about our ideas of order and mobility. The object does not require a fixed place in the home and can be placed like an accessory - sometimes here, sometimes there. When empty, it can be folded and stored in a space-saving way.
Anne Lorenz was nominated for the German Design Award as a newcomer in 2012. Two years earlier, the Hamburg native had completed her studies in Karlsruhe and had already gained experience working for designers in Paris and Rio de Janeiro.Closely tied to fashion design, Anne loves playing with material, color and form.
Since 1997, radio x has been on the air 24 hours a day. A radio station without editors-in-chief, without ratings and without advertising. Around 400 citizens from Frankfurt, Offenbach and the surrounding area, united in around 90 independent editorial teams, create a varied program away from the mainstream.
The spectrum of contributions ranges from music broadcasts of various genres, live music and DJ sessions to experimental sound collages. In addition, radio x offers daily, local event information, media educational broadcasts by and for children, district radio, foreign language broadcasts, magazines on topics from art, culture, politics, science, literature, theater, cinema and much more.

The Staatstheater Darmstadt is a multi-discipline theater with music and dance theater, drama and concerts. More than 500 employees work in front of and behind the scenes at the Staatstheater. Around forty productions are staged each season. In addition, there is an extensive supporting program, including concerts and readings, introductions and open rehearsals. The theater also presents itself in the city and is a guest with concerts in venues such as the Centralstation. The State of Hesse is the sponsor of the Staatstheater Darmstadt.
2021 we were allowed to use the beautiful premises of the theater for our photo shoot.
